Logo, visual identity
Coppertop Brewing Company was founded by a local, award-winning brewmaster and named in honor of his red-haired wife — a personal story that quietly shaped the brand’s character.
With plans to expand from a neighborhood taproom into bottled distribution, the identity needed to feel welcoming yet sophisticated, and flexible enough to scale across multiple touchpoints.
The creative direction embraced a “rustic meets refined” aesthetic — combining the warmth of an old west saloon with the elevated presence of a modern craft brewery. After exploring several typographic directions, Miss Scarlett Plain was selected for the logotype and mark. Its ornamental curves and vintage character evoke heritage and craftsmanship, while its structure maintains clarity and elegance.
To visually anchor the name, I selected a metallic copper palette paired with deep black. The result is a bold, premium identity that feels timeless, distinctive, and adaptable — seamlessly translating across signage, merchandise, and future packaging.
