My love for design started early — back in parochial school, hand-drawing and cutting out felt letters and icons for church banners. I didn’t know what typography or graphic design were at the time, but I knew I loved creating things that communicated visually.
That passion led me to pursue a Fine Art degree with a concentration in Graphic Design. Not long after graduating, I landed the dreamiest of jobs at a boutique advertising and design agency — coincidentally located just blocks from where I’d made those felt shapes as a kid. (I’m sure I’m dating myself by revealing I found them in the Yellow Pages... yes, the actual giant, printed book!)
I spent five incredible years there, learning from talented creative directors and fellow designers, growing not only as a visual communicator but also as a collaborative team member.
I’ve been freelancing for awhile now — partnering with clients across industries to bring their brands and ideas to life. Along the way, I’ve continued to grow, refine my process, and learn what it means to be a truly valuable creative partner. I recently came across a book... written by someone across the pond... and not only did I learn more about the business of freelancing, but I was reminded of exactly why I love what I do: great design is about more than visuals — it’s about solving problems, telling stories, and connecting with people.
Today, I bring that same passion for letterforms and symbols, visual storytelling, and clear communication to every project. Whether I’m working independently, collaborating with an agency team, or contributing in-house, my goal is always the same: to create smart, meaningful design that works and endures — and to be the kind of creative partner people genuinely enjoy working with.
Let’s make something great together.
